Rainbow Splash Bash Welcomes New Families to Saturday Playgroup at SBS Bangkok

A colourful morning of play for new families

On Saturday 12 September, SBS Bangkok welcomed families new to the school to our Saturday Playgroup, with a morning we called the Rainbow Splash Bash. The Early Years campus turned into a colourful playground of songs, paint and play for our newest families.

The children began the morning singing with rainbow scarves in the library, then moved outside to try spray painting. Balloons on the EY track and musical mats followed, with a snack along the way, before the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? brought the morning to a close. Almost nobody stayed clean, which was exactly the point.

Children this age learn best through play. A morning like this lets them try new things, meet our teachers and grow used to the feel of school, with a parent beside them the whole way. For families choosing an Early Years school, it is also a chance to see how your child responds for yourself.

Thank you to every family who joined us. The next Saturday Playgroup takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026, 9.00–11.00 AM, and families can sign up through the link below.
