Noyan in Year 8 spent his summer on the court: runners-up with YBL Thailand at the International Youth Basketball Championships 2026 in Bangkok, then second runners-up at the World Youth Championship 2026 in Singapore.
Noyan spent his summer on the basketball court, and the results followed him home. From 24 to 28 July, he played for YBL Thailand in the U12 Boys category at the International Youth Basketball Championships 2026 in Bangkok, where his team worked their way to the final and finished as runners-up.
In August, he travelled to Singapore for the World Youth Championship 2026, held from 6 to 9 August, where 145 teams from 14 countries competed. Playing for YBL Thailand in the U12 Boys Division 2, his team finished as second runners-up.
Two international tournaments, two medal finishes, one summer. Earlier in the year, Noyan also took second place in the Thailand preliminary round of the Vienna Mozart Philharmonic International Music Competition.
Congratulations, Noyan, from everyone at SBS Bangkok.
