SBS Bangkok has introduced myHappymind, a neuroscience-based wellbeing programme from Early Years to Year 6 and into Lower Secondary, with a parent app.

This term, SBS Bangkok introduced myHappymind, a new whole-school wellbeing programme covering children from Early Years through to Year 6, extended into Lower Secondary.
Through fun, positive learning, myHappymind helps children understand their brains, recognise their feelings and develop skills that support their wellbeing — simple, preventative habits that support positive mental health, resilience and self-esteem, built on neuroscience, positive psychology and research.
Teachers deliver the programme through interactive lessons, and children practise the skills throughout the school day. Early this term, the school held its first myHappymind assemblies for Years 1-2, Years 3-4 and Years 5-6, exploring how Team H-A-P works together.
Year 7 continue with myHappymind, with lessons linked to the move from Year 6, while Years 8 and 9 follow myMindcoach, built on the same ideas, in their wellbeing lessons. There is a parent app too, so families can see what their child is learning and try the activities at home.
