SBS Bangkok Years 4–8 parents joined Expedition Parent Briefings to learn about purpose, preparation, supervision, safety and communication.

On 11 and 12 May, parents from Years 4–8 joined SBS Bangkok’s Expedition Parent Briefings to learn more about the residential learning experiences ahead.
The briefings gave families a clearer understanding of the purpose, preparation, supervision, safety arrangements and communication that will support students throughout the upcoming expeditions.
For Years 4–8, these experiences extend learning beyond the classroom through outdoor learning, environmental awareness, service learning and team-building experiences.
They are designed to help students build confidence, self-reliance, social connection and resilience in new settings.
Strong preparation starts before the journey begins. It starts when school and home share the same understanding of how each child will be supported as they take this next step.
