SBS Bangkok Secondary students presented on Sleep and the Teenage Brain, connecting science with real-life habits, focus and wellbeing.

SBS Bangkok Secondary students continued their Science TEDTalk-style presentation series with a thoughtful and highly relevant topic: Sleep and the Teenage Brain.
Serena, Year 7, and Howie, Year 8, presented to their peers on the importance of sleep for teenagers, exploring how mobile phones, gaming and screen time before bed can affect rest, focus and wellbeing.
Their presentation shared important messages in a way that connected science to real life, helping students reflect on habits that affect both learning and daily wellbeing.
It was also a valuable opportunity for young scientists to practise research, public speaking, communication and confidence in front of an audience.
Moments like this show how science learning can go beyond the classroom, encouraging students to ask meaningful questions, communicate ideas clearly and connect knowledge to the choices they make every day.
