SBS Bangkok proudly celebrates Year 6 pianists Ample and ChiCha, who achieved Second Place in the Thailand Preliminary Round of the International Young Musician Music Competition 2026 and qualified for the Final Round in Vienna.
Music is a journey shaped by patience, practice, discipline, and passion. For young performers, each opportunity to step onto a stage is not only a chance to share their talent, but also to grow in confidence and resilience.
SBS International School Bangkok is proud to celebrate two talented Year 6 pianists, Ample and ChiCha, for their wonderful achievement at the International Young Musician Music Competition 2026, also known as the IYMMC Music Competition – Thailand.
Both students recently took part in the Thailand Preliminary Round 2026 on 14 March 2026, where they achieved the Second Place Award. This recognition reflects not only their musical ability, but also the dedication and commitment they have shown in developing their craft.
Even more excitingly, Ample and ChiCha have successfully qualified as representatives of Thailand to compete in the Final Round in Vienna. This next stage marks a meaningful step in their musical journey and offers an inspiring opportunity to perform on an international platform.
Achievements like this remind us of the importance of nurturing each child’s individual strengths and passions. Whether in academics, the arts, sport, or personal interests, meaningful growth often comes from the courage to practise, persevere, and share one’s abilities with the wider world.
We are incredibly proud of Ample and ChiCha for this outstanding accomplishment. Their achievement is a wonderful celebration of musical excellence, personal dedication, and the joy of learning beyond the classroom. Congratulations to both students, and we wish them every success in the Final Round in Vienna.
