SBS Bangkok Launches Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Strong partnerships between families and school are at the heart of every child’s success. With this belief, SBS International School Bangkok has formally launched the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for the 2025/26 academic year.

What is the PTA?
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is designed to bring parents and teachers together as partners in education. It is a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and shared responsibility — ensuring that school and home work side by side to create the best possible environment for students to learn, grow, and thrive.
The Role of Parent Representatives
To strengthen this collaboration, dedicated Parent Representatives have been appointed for each year group. Their responsibilities include:
- Acting as a communication link between families and the school
- Sharing updates and important information with parents
- Supporting events, initiatives, and community projects
- Representing the perspectives of parents to ensure all voices are heard
Through this system, every family has an approachable contact person while the school benefits from valuable feedback that reflects the needs and aspirations of the wider community.
