A Celebration of Learning, Leadership, and Culture

SBS International School Bangkok celebrated Loy Krathong Day with a heartfelt and meaningful event that invited students to explore the beauty of Thai culture through hands-on learning experiences. Rooted in respect, creativity, and community, the celebration connected classroom learning with Thailand’s living traditions — reminding everyone of the importance of gratitude and environmental care.

The afternoon began with an opening ceremony that reflected on the cultural and environmental significance of Loy Krathong, followed by a series of interactive cultural stations. Students created eco-friendly krathongs from natural materials, enjoyed traditional Thai games, and explored the history of the festival and the royal contributions of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother to the preservation of Thai arts, culture, and nature.

โรงเรียนนานาชาติ SBS Bangkok จัดกิจกรรมวันลอยกระทงเพื่อเปิดโลกการเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมไทยให้กับนักเรียนในบรรยากาศที่งดงาม อ่อนโยน และเปี่ยมด้วยคุณค่า

นักเรียนได้ร่วมประดิษฐ์กระทงจากวัสดุธรรมชาติ เล่นเกมไทย และเรียนรู้เรื่องราวของวันลอยกระทง พร้อมทั้งรำลึกถึงพระราชกรณียกิจของ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ผู้ทรงอุทิศพระวรกายเพื่ออนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรมและธรรมชาติของไทยให้คงอยู่คู่แผ่นดิน
