Launching the SBS Bangkok House System 2025/26
The SBS Bangkok campus was a sea of colour on Friday 3 October 2025, as we officially launched our House System for the year 2025/26. It was a landmark moment as we announced which House each student had been allocated to.

This morning, as the Year 1 to Year 6 students entered the theatre, the SBS Sorting Hat revealed their Houses in true magical style. The entire event was seamlessly organised by our wonderful Year 7 and Year 8 students, who are already proving themselves to be excellent leaders of tomorrow.
A Foundation of Belonging and Growth
Our House System is a key element in our holistic approach to learning. It provides a vertical family of staff and students, creating a strong sense of pride, belonging, and unity.
From a developmental psychology perspective, this sense of belonging is one of the most powerful motivators for children. When they feel part of a group, they grow in confidence, show greater courage, and develop deeper compassion for others. These values — Confidence, Courage, and Compassion — are at the heart of everything the House System represents.
As the year unfolds, our students will celebrate achievements, build friendships across year groups, and grow in character through their House experiences.
A Magical Reveal and a Joyful Celebration
The theatre was filled with excitement as we watched a Harry Potter–style reveal of the names and faces of students in their House Families. It was a delight to see children accept and take pride in their House allocation — even if they weren’t quite sure about the colour at first!
The celebrations continued outdoors in the Early Years playground, where staff revealed their Houses in a spirited parade that ended in a slippery slide! The energy was high, yet our youngest children showed impressive behaviour in such a lively setting — even our Toddlers joined the fun.
Early Years Join the Tradition
Yesterday, our younger learners in the Early Years also received their first House sticker. They were clapped and cheered as they learnt about their House animal, each one an indigenous species of Thailand. This gave them a tangible symbol of identity they could proudly carry.
Our Toddlers will join the tradition a little later, receiving their House when they begin Nursery.
The launch of the SBS House System marks more than the start of a new tradition. It is the creation of a home within the school — one that fosters belonging, builds lasting memories, and nurtures the strengths children will carry far beyond the classroom.

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 3 ตุลาคม 2568 บรรยากาศทั่วแคมปัสของ SBS Bangkok เต็มไปด้วยสีสันและความตื่นเต้น เนื่องในโอกาสเปิดตัวอย่างเป็นทางการของ SBS House System ประจำปีการศึกษา 2025/26 ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งเหตุการณ์สำคัญที่ทุกคนรอคอย เด็ก ๆ ทุกคนได้ทราบว่า “บ้าน” ที่พวกเขาสังกัดคือสีใด
เช้าวันนั้น นักเรียนตั้งแต่ชั้น Year 1 ถึง Year 6 ได้เดินเข้าสู่โรงละครท่ามกลางเสียงเชียร์ ก่อนที่ SBS Sorting Hat จะเฉลยผลการจัด House แบบฉบับ “เวทมนตร์” ในสไตล์ Harry Potter โดยมีพี่ ๆ นักเรียน Year 7 และ Year 8 เป็นผู้นำการจัดงานได้อย่างราบรื่น สะท้อนถึงความเป็น ผู้นำแห่งอนาคต ได้อย่างน่าชื่นชม
สร้างรากฐานแห่งความผูกพันและการเติบโต
ระบบ House ถือเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของแนวทางการเรียนรู้แบบองค์รวม (Holistic Education) ของโรงเรียน ที่มุ่งสร้างความรู้สึกเป็นหนึ่งเดียว ความภูมิใจ และความผูกพันระหว่างครูและนักเรียนต่างระดับชั้น ให้ทุกคนได้รู้สึกว่า “ที่นี่คือครอบครัวของเรา”
ในมุมมองทางจิตวิทยาพัฒนาการ (Developmental Psychology) “ความรู้สึกเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกลุ่ม” (Sense of Belonging) คือแรงขับเคลื่อนทางอารมณ์ที่ทรงพลังที่สุดของเด็ก เมื่อเด็กได้รับการยอมรับในกลุ่ม เขาจะกล้าแสดงออกมากขึ้น มีความมั่นใจ กล้าหาญ และเรียนรู้ที่จะมีความเมตตาต่อผู้อื่น ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับค่านิยมหลักของเรา — Confidence, Courage และ Compassion
ตลอดปีการศึกษา เด็ก ๆ จะได้เฉลิมฉลองความสำเร็จ แบ่งปันความภาคภูมิใจ และสร้างมิตรภาพข้ามชั้นปี ผ่านกิจกรรมและประสบการณ์ในครอบครัว House ของตนเอง
บรรยากาศแห่งความสุขและเสียงหัวเราะ
โรงละครของเราเต็มไปด้วยเสียงหัวเราะและความตื่นเต้น เมื่อมีการประกาศรายชื่อนักเรียนในแต่ละ House แบบ Harry Potter–style เด็ก ๆ ทุกคนต่างแสดงความภูมิใจในสีประจำ House ของตน แม้บางคนจะยังไม่คุ้นกับสีที่ได้รับก็ตาม
บรรยากาศแห่งความสุขยังคงต่อเนื่องในสนามเด็กเล่นของระดับ Early Years ซึ่งครูทุกคนได้เปิดเผย House ของตนเองในพาเหรดสุดคึกคัก และปิดท้ายด้วยกิจกรรม สไลเดอร์น้ำ ที่สร้างเสียงหัวเราะไปทั่วงาน เด็กเล็กของเราก็มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมนี้เช่นกัน และทุกคนแสดงความมีวินัยและความอดทนได้อย่างน่าประทับใจ
การเริ่มต้นของเด็กเล็กในระบบ House
หนึ่งวันก่อนหน้านั้น เด็ก ๆ ระดับ Early Years ก็ได้รับ สติกเกอร์ House ดวงแรก ของตนเอง ท่ามกลางเสียงปรบมือและการให้กำลังใจจากเพื่อน ๆ พวกเขายังได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับสัตว์ประจำ House ซึ่งล้วนเป็น สัตว์ท้องถิ่นของประเทศไทย ที่สื่อถึงพลังและเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว
สำหรับเด็กระดับ Toddlers จะได้รับการจัดสรร House อย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อเข้าสู่ระดับ Nursery เพื่อเริ่มต้นการเดินทางในครอบครัว House ของพวกเขาในปีถัดไป
การเปิดตัวระบบ House ของ SBS Bangkok ครั้งนี้ เป็นมากกว่าการเปิดกิจกรรมใหม่ — แต่คือการสร้าง “บ้านอีกหลังหนึ่ง” ภายในโรงเรียน ที่เติมเต็มความรู้สึกเป็นเจ้าของ ความภาคภูมิใจ และความผูกพันที่เด็ก ๆ จะจดจำไปตลอดเส้นทางการเรียนรู้ของพวกเขา
