October–November 2025 marked a special milestone for Year 4 student, Erine, who showcased her musical talent across three major vocal competitions in Bangkok and Hong Kong. Through dedication, perseverance, and a deep passion for music, Erine achieved two Gold Medals and one Silver Medal, earning recognition from adjudicators, fellow performers, and audiences alike.

Her journey reflects the values we proudly nurture at SBS International School Bangkok — confidence, commitment, and the courage to grow through new experiences.

1. Music Skills Competition 2025 (Bangkok)

Date: 15 October 2025

Award: Gold Medal – Vocal (Under 12)

Venue: Siam Pathumwan House, Bangkok

Representing The Star Maker Voice Academy, Erine performed “Don’t Speak” with exceptional control and emotional depth. This piece was part of her preparation for the Trinity Rock & Pop Grade 4 examination, and she had trained consistently for five months. Her performance captivated the judges and earned her the Gold Medal in the Under-12 Vocal category.

2. Rock & Pop Fest #5 Live in 2025

Date: 29 October 2025

Award: Silver Medal – Vocal (Grade 4–5 Category)

Venue: Phenix Auditorium Hall

At this annual festival supported by Trinity College London, Erine performed two songs from the Grade 4 syllabus: “Don’t Speak” and “Son of a Preacher Man.” Having practiced since April 2025, she demonstrated strong stage presence and vocal maturity.

Although she received a Silver Medal, Erine embraced the experience wholeheartedly — valuing the judges’ feedback and already looking forward to participating again next year, including in the Electric Guitar category.

3. 19th Hong Kong (Asia Pacific) Music Competition 2025

At this prestigious international event, Erine performed “All by Myself” with confidence, emotion, and impressive vocal range. After months of refinement and applying feedback from previous competitions, she delivered her strongest performance to date — earning a Gold Award and enthusiastic praise from both judges and fellow contestants from across the region.

A Journey of Growth, Confidence, and Musical Passion

Across all three events, Erine demonstrated not only musical skill but also the character qualities that make her achievements truly meaningful — dedication, resilience, and a genuine love for learning.
