SBS Bangkok’s Early Years Sports Day transformed the campus into a joyful jungle adventure, bringing children and parents together through movement, teamwork, courage, and community spirit.
Early Years Sports Day at SBS Bangkok: A Jungle Adventure in Motion
On Thursday 12 March, SBS International School Bangkok transformed into a vibrant jungle for our Early Years Sports Day — a joyful morning filled with movement, imagination, teamwork, and family connection.
Working in their house teams, our brave young explorers set off on an exciting mission to find Lenny the Lion. Along the way, they took part in a series of fun physical challenges designed to build confidence, coordination, resilience, and cooperation.
From balancing over creeks and slithering through snake pits to swinging like monkeys, racing on scooter boards, and launching rockets into the jungle, every activity encouraged children to move, explore, and enjoy learning through active play.
What made the day even more special was seeing children and parents take part together. Using their Head, Heart and Hands, families navigated each challenge with courage, teamwork, and plenty of laughter.
The event was a wonderful reminder that physical development in the Early Years is about more than movement. It is also about confidence, communication, problem-solving, connection, and the joy of trying something new.
Early Years Sports Day was a joyful celebration of movement, community, and shared experience — and we have a feeling the parents may have enjoyed the adventure just as much as the children.
