Student Spotlight: Lita Reaches the Royal Trophy Singing Contest Semi-Final

Advancing to the semi-final round

SBS Bangkok is pleased to celebrate Lita, Year 4, who has advanced to the Semi-Final Round of the H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great’s Compositions Singing Contest for the Royal Trophy 2026.

At the qualifying round held on 2 July 2026 at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Lita was selected as one of 10 elementary-level contestants to continue in the competition.

Official competition documents cited in the Facebook announcement recorded 649 applicants across the elementary, secondary and university levels, with 30 contestants selected for the semi-final round.

Taking to the stage at her age calls for careful preparation, courage and confidence. SBS Bangkok is pleased to recognise the commitment Lita brings to her music and to celebrate the individual strengths students develop through the pursuits that matter to them.
