A closer look beneath the surface.
As part of the Global Reef visit, some students explored the reef environment through VR, seeing the underwater world in a more visual and immersive way.
After learning about coral reef habitats, animal adaptations and marine conservation, the VR experience helped students picture the ecosystems they had been discussing.
It gave the learning another layer: using technology to make scientific ideas feel closer, clearer and more connected to the world students are growing up in.
