What does a healthy coral reef need to survive?
On 29 May, students in Years 4–8 welcomed Piers from Global Reef back to SBS Bangkok for a series of marine conservation workshops.
Students explored how reef animals adapt, protect themselves and each play a role in keeping coral reef ecosystems in balance. The session also introduced students to conservation work happening in Thailand.
Learning with someone working directly in the field helped students connect science with the real world beyond the classroom — a thoughtful day of curiosity, communication and environmental responsibility.
