Helping young children understand care beyond the classroom
How do young children begin to understand what care means beyond the classroom?
For SBS Bangkok’s Toddlers, Nursery and Reception students, the answer came through a hands-on Hospital Demonstration on campus.
Students joined a short presentation, demonstration and Q&A before observing an ambulance demonstration up close.
They explored emergency equipment, asked questions and saw how nurses support people inside an emergency vehicle.
Community helpers can feel like a big idea for young children. Experiences like this make it more real: people they can meet, tools they can see and caring roles they can begin to understand.
