Student Spotlight: Pang and Panva Take Their Dance from Uthai Thani to Tokyo

Three stages, two journeys

Two sisters, three stages and two solo performances refined for an international final in Tokyo. July and August brought a series of performance milestones for Pang and Panva, with each sister showing her own strengths through dance.

At the Miss Universe Uthai Thani Final Competition on 18 July, Pang opened the event and later performed with LUNA X. Panva appeared in the Midnight Girl show, and both sisters took part in the Evening Gown Competition.

Earlier that month, Panva received a Gold Award in Pop Dance for Ages 8–9 at the Korea Music and Talent Competition 2026 Thailand Preliminary Round on 4 July.

On 12 August, they competed in the Tokyo Final Round International Music Youth Competition. Pang received the Elite Award in Solo Dance 10–11, while Panva received a Gold Award in Solo Dance for ages 8–9. Both prepared by refining their choreography and strengthening their performances for the final.

What makes this a proud moment for the SBS Bangkok community is seeing two sisters pursue the same passion in distinctly different ways. Their story reflects a part of holistic education we value: recognising each child's individual strengths and making room for those strengths to be seen, in the classroom and beyond it.
